Our First Publication

We were chuffed recently when Mandy from Daisy Mae Designs said she would be using our pictures alongside an article she would be writing for Vintage Life magazine. Having our work published is a big opportunity for Karienne and myself as we are a new business and we are always looking for ways to reach a bigger audience to showcase our work, and get our name 'out their' within the photography market. So, thank you so much Mandy for choosing us, we feel privileged and proud to be a part of your special achievement and recognition and we look forward to the next articles featuring your gorgeous handmade collection.

New sample albums

We've used the weddings from last years for our latest sample album. We've decided to go for a mixture of white and black pages in our favourite on textured paper and we love it!  We've used the black leatherette for the cover and it looks great!  What do you think? :-)

The Miracle of Life...

To my dear sister Liana...

"This Baby is Your Blessing, I wish Happiness in every way,
Good Luck God Bless, I say And Many Blessings and Wishes,
To Welcome Baby Into Your Life Today."

Love Karienne

PS: Today I've read a really funny quote that I have to share with you all. 'The worst feature of a baby is it's mothers singing!' :-)

The soon to be Mr & Mrs Amison

We recently had the pleasure of meeting up with one of our 2010 wedding couples for a pre-wedding  shoot at one of the most picturesque and beautiful wedding venues we will be photographing this year.
We asked Julie and Paul to spill the beans on how they met and their story so far (we love a good romantic story).......they met across a crowded pub, Paul spotted Julie but Julie doesn't remember seeing Paul (sorry Paul) As Julie ran one of Pauls favourite watering holes, he thought it was the ideal opportunity to break the ice, so off he went to the bar for a pint.....and a date. A relationship built on compromise from the beginning, Julie agreed, but it did mean that avid Middlesborough supporter Paul would have to go out on a date to watch her favourite football team Plymouth Argyle, now that must be love! Julie, talking about compromise Paul says he only has two earrings left!
Julie says Paul is kind and funny and we can see this in the way they interact around each other as we ask them to pose for photos, Paul brings out Julies confident side and she smiles non stop (but Paul leave Julies hair alone next time lol) Paul is direct and to the point and simply says "I fancied the hell out of her" awwwww,  I think they thoroughly enjoyed all the intimate poses we asked them to do. Well, when your that in love and the sun is shining and your in a beautiful setting, what more would you want!
As you count down the days to your wedding, click on the link below and share a smile :)

Looking forward to seeing you guys on your wedding day. A few pictures from the shoot, hope you enjoy them.
