Nicky {Outdoor Portfolio Session}

Meet my gorgeous sister Nicky who has been a very patient 'victim' of my camera since I first started taking photos at 13. Without her I wouldn't have anyone to experiment on back in the days when we used bedsheets as backgrounds and shooting on the film most of the photos were too overexposed or underexposed so they had gone straight to the bin. :-)

Here are few shots from our impromptu session yesterday. And yes it was freeee-ee-zing! ;-) I think she's handled my 'Try look like you're not cold!' directions very well. What do you think?

We are able to offer a mobile portrait service in the comfort of your own home or on location, in and around Staffordshire, Cheshire and Derbyshire. You will be presented with 10 images up to 8x6 inches, professionally edited and printed images from your chosen selection and a CD containing the images suitable for use on the internet or emailing to family and friends.

We suggest that you bring a selection of different outfits to get the most out of your shoot. Bring anything you like, even some props if you fancy, think about what best describes you!

Little bit of fun...

Happy Easter everybody! 

Unfortunately, I've not had time to do anything 'easter-related' this year… coming to think of it I haven't even bought an egg for my nephew… :-( boo bad auntie!!! But after few extremely busy weeks (exhausted but grateful for all our weddings) I've had time today to meet up for lunch with my girls and while driving through Newcastle we spotted a fayre… :-)

So I've decided to splash a little bit of colour all over our blog and bring you something a little different from our standard posts. :-)

What is Project 365? + Ashley - 'Be Beautiful' photo shoot...

Hi people!

Our blog looks a bit lonely. We took a little break in December from the madness of the world to spend some time with our families and friends. Now that Christmas is over (boooo), we are getting back into the swing of things, preparing for the next season of weddings and to be honest we can't wait! :-)

This year we've also decided to take on the 'Project 365' and document our life in 2012. We are aware that it's going to be a challenge, especially on boring rainy days when nothing much is happening, but on the other hand it will give us chance to experiment with various photographic techniques and do what we love doing most.. take photographs. ;-)
